Thanksgiving Day Outfit Ideas

With so many things happening on a daily basis, we (girls) always wait till the last minute to go shopping for ourselves or end up storming through our closet to put together an outfit. As the holidays get closer, time seems to go by faster and the more we need to get accomplished. Since Thanksgiving is only a few days away, I figured I would put together 3 different outfits to inspire all the last minute shoppers. From accessories, shoes, clothing, and makeup, I hope you find these outfit ideas helpful!

I kept it pretty casual in Look #1 for those of you who want to be comfy but yet still look cute and put together.

The rings were gifted to me, but here are some similar & affordable ones from Forever 21.
Bracelets are from Forever 21. I’ve been all about the antique silver lately!

I kept my makeup very neutral, just add winged liner for a bolder look.
Eyes: Urban Decay Naked palette, Kat Von D Ink Liner, L’oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara

Hats (like this one from Windsor) are a great Fall accessory
that adds character to your outfit.

Wedge booties make an outfit a little less casual (great for shorties like myself)
I purchased these from Forever 21.

Dress from Target

Look #2 is a great example on how to turn a simple black & white striped shift dress less basic by adding pops of color. A shift dress is soft, comfy, and easy to pair accessories with for a trendier look.

Adding a vest or jacket is perfect! I purchased this Forever 21
vest a while back but I found an almost-identical version available at Nordstrom

Ever since I got these booties from Target, I CANNOT stop wearing them! 😡

I love how you can wear this vest open, buttoned-up, or semi-closed with the strings.
The pockets in this vest always come in handy too!

Simple, easy, and Thanksgiving approved!

I decided to make Look #3 more of an evening look. A touch of sophistication and comfort with some harem pants, because let’s be honest after that food coma pants are the last thing you want to wear! (it’s ok, go ahead and admit it).

Forever 21 kimono cardigan
(similar here and here)
Harem pants from Forever 21

With the weather being so unpredictable in Miami, I threw on a kimono cardigan because
it is easy and light. Depending on the weather conditions in your area,
wearing a blazer or longer/thicker cardigan is a great option.

It is important to be thankful each and every day, not just on Thanksgiving. Give thanks, appreciate your surroundings and the blessings you are given, and love life. Don’t take things too serious, just laugh it off!
