– SHOP THE LOOK –
Traveling to New York during late fall for the first time helped me learn plenty about outerwear since living in South Florida my whole life, I barely own any. It was one of those extremely windy and chilly mornings in the city and layering with this tweed walker coat was ideal. The double-breasted front closure keeps everything secure and warm, and with a standing collar to cover up the neck area if needed.
Most coats tend to be heavy and although this one is made with tweed, it was comfortable to wear while exploring without feeling like I just added 10 pounds to my outfit. If buttons tend to get in your way, simply belt the coat without buttoning up from top to bottom (what I did) and it definitely kept my body cozy and bearable to embrace the strong windchill. With a cozy interior and front pockets for extra warmth, this coat takes the prize.
After experiencing some much needed weather change, I am now left with a higher appreciation for outerwear of every kind. Also, currently been loving and wanting every pair of loafers in my sight! These Marc Fisher loafers are the right amount of shiny and trendy. Let me know what are some jackets and coats you’re loving this season.
