The kind of dress to conquer this windy month of March is one that’s long enough to avoid flying up but one that also shows off our (much needed tanned) legs. Despite being 4 days shy from the first day of Spring (3/20/17) my mindset is transitioning into the very much awaited new season in subtle floral prints.
Florals are a year-round must-have, I can already hear the famous Miranda Priestly’s sarcastic remark about them as I type. The particular floral print on this wrap dress is exactly the kind I seek when transitioning from winter to spring, as the colors aren’t overwhelming yet bring life into my wardrobe. With cold shoulder details and a ruffled hem to compliment such a subtle feminine print, it makes this dress appropriate for a variety of occasions.
Easy to wrap around the waist with two long straps, I tied them in a side bow. As it overlaps nicely, it creates a crossover bust which is perfect for me as my chest is smaller in size. It’s an easy slip-on and adjustable as necessary without the zipper hassle. As these crazy winds and sudden chilly nights make their way out, a medium-wash denim jacket pairs nicely for a casual look or a leather jacket for evening wear.
As a new member of the Kiyonna Blogger Brigade, I’m excited to be sharing new trendy plus size pieces and incorporating each with my personal style! I love discovering new plus size brands and retailers and spread the goodness with you all. Let me know in the comments below of any Spring trends you’d like me to style.
Thank you, Kiyonna for this opportunity!
